Two million people in France are affected by mental disorders. These disorders, foremost among them bipolarity, schizophrenia and severe depression, are the main cause of disability and the second cause of sick leave. Clubhouse creates places that help people suffering from mental disorders in their recovery and return to professional activity. The organization aims to form the missing link between medical recovery and the return to employment of men and women weakened by a mental disorder.
The Groupe SEB Fund is backing Clubhouse in the opening of its first Clubhouse in Lyon and the support of its 70 members at end-2018.
