A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, he began his career in the United States as Financial Controller at Allendale Insurance Johnson before spending 4 years with Coopers & Lybrand as Audit Manager in Paris. Afterwards he joined Groupe Chargeurs, holding different positions in the Finance department before serving as Chief Financial Officer and later as Chief Executive Officer of Croisières Paquet.cteur Administratif et Financier puis Directeur Général.
He joined Groupe SEB in 1994, becoming Chairman of Calor, before being appointed Deputy Chairman of SEB S.A. in 1999.
